10 months old!

Stella has hit double digits! Ten months old today and learning to do so many new things. She also figured out this month that the chair we use for her monthly photos is a rocking chair, and decided that she did not like it one bit!

So, we'll go ahead and make this one our official 10 month picture.

This past month, Stella learned how to use a straw cup and a sippy cup, started showing interest in using a spoon (and sometimes gets the food in her mouth!) tried new foods like kiwi and kale and helped mommy out in the kitchen. She is able to pull herself up on just about anything, and is clearly getting ready to stand on her own! Stella also had her first (and second) fever, but she bounced back quickly both times. We're looking forward to the warmer spring weather that is supposedly coming our way, and all the fun we'll have with Stella outside!

I had to take this one while Stella was smiling for strangers, because she refused to smile for just me!

 (And yeah, at our house, every other day is the Fourth of July or Thanksgiving. But you've probably figured that out by now.)
